He reviews concepts and frameworks for regulatory ethics and oversight for clinical research in a crosscultural setting and in reference to European as well as Asian traditions, calling for new models of interactive stakeholder ethics in communication and cooperation between lay persons as probands or patients and experts in drug development and drug safety.
